Hall and Access Sub-Group

AK outlined points in minutes of the last meeting of the Development Group.  AK to present costings to the Village Hall Committee.  AK produced a draft layout of the location of the new hall and other facilities for discussion.  JL suggested it was time to publish the draft outline for the residents to see and obtain their views and comments.   A better quality outline will be published in the Reeves Tale.

It was agreed that the Committee should give a presentation of the new Scheme.  A ‘Wine and Cheese’ evening will be held at the Village Hall on Tuesday 11 March.  Invitation cards and publication in the Reeves Tale to be completed by 15th February.  Good 3D visuals and 50/50 costings will be included in the presentation.

Activities Sub-Group

JL reported that 8 young adults attended the disco in November.   The attendees enjoyed themselves but were disappointed so many of their friends didn’t turn up.  The disc jockey was excellent and will be hired again in 2008.

The half term events went very well with a huge attendance at the Halloween party on the Friday afternoon.   The adult bingo every other Tuesday afternoon will continue to run.  Everyone who attends enjoys themselves.
